Students who wish to apply to start the VSCP in January 2012 should contact the VSCP office for application information.

1) Apply for the program online.

• Consult the deadlines and fee schedules for the Visiting Student Certificate Program (VSCP).
• Download the VSCP Online Application Guidelines (PDF).
• Complete the Undergraduate Online Application for Admission; you will need to select Open Studies and choose your VSCP schedule in the Program section of the application.
• Apply Now

2) Apply online for a Campus Residence.

Note: A campus computing ID (CCID) is required to apply for a residence. It is recommended that VSCP applicants apply for a residence within 1 week of applying for the program. Residence applications must be submitted before April 30 to guarantee a residence assignment for September.

• View the residence options and choose HUB, East Campus Village, International House or Lister Centre
• Download the application instructions (pdf) for the residence you will apply for:

3) Prepare and send your supporting documents.

Send the following paper documents by mail or courier within two weeks of completing your online application.

• VSCP Academic Study Plan (PDF) outlining courses you wish to take (subject to availability/permission)
• Participation consent form (PDF) signed by home university
• official university transcript in English
• one letter of support from a professor or university official at your university
• TOEFL score (optional)
• Completed homestay application form (PDF) & placement fee payment ($200) (optional)

Each short-term, cohort program has its own application and registration procedures. Select the appropriate program from Visiting and Short-Term Programs.

Undergraduate: Contact the appropriate Faculty for application procedures; not all faculties allow visiting students.
